Design and estimate documentation is being prepared for the creation of a rehabilitation center at Chumatska Street

The project to build a new health and rehabilitation center with a swimming pool at Chumatska Street in Ternopil is underway. The new center will employ specialists from our city’s medical institutions who will provide medical services to military personnel and community members.

Currently, design and estimate documentation is being developed for the arrangement of a full-fledged rehabilitation center in a newly built construction with an area of more than 1100 square meters. The city council is working to find investors and attract grant funds to equip the center.

The project envisages the overhaul of the existing premises for an outpatient health and rehabilitation center with a rehabilitation pool, physical therapy rooms, an occupational therapy room, psychologists’ and psychotherapists’ rooms, an art therapy room and day care wards.

By the way, after treatment in the hospital, servicemen face the problem of restoring their physical functions. Physical rehabilitation of soldiers after injuries takes a long time, which can last from 1-2 to 5-6 months or more. Such rehabilitation treatment is aimed at restoring the body after the acute period and often allows to avoid primary disability or prevent further deterioration. This is a very important task, without which it is impossible to fully return a serviceman to ordinary everyday life.
